Youth Expanding Archaeological Horizons ✶

who are we ?

We are team Bucket Cats and we are from Great River School in Minnesota and this is our Innovation project for FLL (First Lego League). We want to help young archaeologists learn more about the past to discover great things and so we can see things from someone else’s perspective. Last year we were tasked with the theme of ocean health so we created a video game prototype about coral safety here’s what it looked like!

our mission

Youth

We want young people to be a part of the world of archaeology and to be able to contribute their ideas to it as adults do today. We believe that if we teach young people today, then they will know more tomorrow.

Expanding

As kids, we feel that our opportunities and resources are very limited. We are trying to expand those opportunities for others interested in archaeology by making room for kids to learn, contribute, and expand

Archaeological

Archaeology is important to us and we want people all over the world to have the opportunity to learn more about it. If more people could learn more about it, the more perspective from others we could have.

Horizons

We hope that all young people can learn more about archaeology so in the future we can inspire youth to take careers in this field. We want to encourage kids to make archaeology better by connecting archeologists with youth.
